ഖത്തര്‍ ലോകകപ്പ് നേടിയ അർജൻ്റീനയെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി. മത്സരശേഷം ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെയാണ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി അഭിനന്ദനം അറിയിച്ചത്. അര്‍ജന്‍റീനന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് ആൽബർട്ടോ ഫെർണാണ്ടസിനെ ടാഗ് ചെയ്തായിരുന്നു മോദിയുടെ അഭിനന്ദനം. അതേസമയം മികച്ച കളിയിലൂടെ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തിയ ഫ്രാൻസിനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചും മോദി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
